Durham Divas Sylvia's Ride 2020 Cancelled Durham Divas Sylvia's Ride 2020 Cancelled

Sylvias Ride Dear Supporters, Volunteers, Friends & Family:

Due to the unforeseen, beyond our control, circumstances that have recently taken place, the Durham Divas regret to inform you that our 13th Annual Sylvia’s Ride charitable donation to the Grandview Kids Foundation on Saturday May 23, 2020 located at the Moose Lodge in Oshawa has been CANCELLED.

The Divas have made this difficult decision to cancel because of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and the Ontario Government’s announcement prohibiting large public gatherings.

The Divas apologize for this inconvenience but are confident that you understand our decision was made in the best interests of safety, health and well-being of our supporters, volunteers, attendees, friends, family and the local community.  Everyone’s safety, health and well-being are always of the utmost importance and concern for us.

At this difficult time the Durham Divas will continue to support and would like to send a big thank you and express our gratitude to all our local business and donators for all the support in the past.

We have been preparing for this annual event and so it saddens the Divas, to a great extent, to cancel it at this time. However, we intend to make next years’ event more spectacular and we hope that you will grace Sylvia’s Ride with your presence in May 2021.

Please also feel free to reach out to the Durham Divas on Facebook (Durham Divas Motorcycle Group) or by email at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Please check our Facebook page for ongoing updates as to when the starting date will be for the Durham Divas Bike Nights at Pete’s Big Bite in Whitby. The Divas will be donating funds received from some selected bike night dates and presenting a donation cheque to the Grandview Kids foundation at the end of the motorcycle season, more information will be posted on Facebook.

The Durham Divas hope everyone stays well and we look forward to when we can get together again to share our love of motorcycling.

Sincerely,

Diva Kim
President
