“Hi there. I bought these glasses and they don’t fit me. Can you please make them fit?” I hear this question so frequently- most folks recognize that a shop with the word ‘Optical’ means service with respects to eyewear. My response to that statement that I hear more and more often is, “Well have you returned to the dispensary you bought them from for them to address the issues you’re having?”. All too often, the reply is no, they bought them online so there’s nowhere to go, and the instructions for making them fit don’t work.
There aren’t too many things in life that are predictable, but ocean tides are one of them. Our family just returned from a short vacation on a Vancouver Island beach and I found the tides fascinating. Incoming tides covered the beach and at high tide, you could literally see all the sandcastles, wood forts and creations literally disappear under the water, never to be seen again.
Don’t know about you, but I have to say there is something special about watching a movie where a man, woman or child makes a positive difference in the world. I can’t help but recall the departed “Indian Larry” who was a pioneer in the revolutionary design and promotion of his amazing creations, and his tireless efforts to be a spokesperson for the industry which had literally blossomed in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. Biker build offs and biker reality shows hit the networks with a flurry and ‘Indian Larry’ was always colorful and accommodating.
