Sheila Willis is a self described housewife from the bush.
Residing in Smith Alberta since 1995, she began historical tours of the area after her father-in-law peaked her interest with stories of steamboats, the klondike gold rush and German POW camps.
She is now the Executive Director of Friends of Historical Northern Alberta Society, the makers of the History Check app. Adding and exploring the thousands of points of interest onto the app allows her to feed her love of history, writing and exploration.
Sharing all that northern Alberta has to offer is her passion.
