When I unpacked the bag out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the 4 generous-sized outside pockets. When I opened them up I was really glad to see how much they can be expanded. I like using the outside pockets for all those things I need access to quickly when I am on the road. Night time glasses, rain glasses/goggles, sunblock, extra dry gloves, charging cords and power blocks, kickstand puck etc.
The separate detachable bag is great for shoes/boots, flip flops or cosmetics.
Depending on the trip I am on, I have used the top bag alone as it handles a pair of pj’s, a top, socks and undies, a pair of jeans and a few cosmetics easily. I have also used it with the main bag, to keep my dirty clothes separated from my clean ones. It also handles a pair of boots quite nicely.
The main bag is beautiful. It expands by 6 inches, making it possible to bring home all your memorabilia from your ride.
It also has a generous 12” x 8” opening, making it easy to access all of your stuff and the zippers open fully and don’t bind.
The protective rain cover can be used on this bag no matter the configuration you use.
The bag slips on your sissy bar and is fastened with nice sturdy tie down straps. It takes no time at all to put it on the bike.
The quick detach clips are also nice and sturdy. Another feature I like is the shoulder straps. It makes it uber easy to pack the bag into my room at the end of the day.
Be prepared when you go to a rally because you can pack a lot of things in this bag, so you need to make sure you have the room on your credit card!
In all seriousness, I really like the design of this bag and its price point of well under $100!
If you are looking for an affordable, practical and well made bag for your motorcycle consider Viking Bags, they have a wide selection in a variety of price points.
