Thank you all that came out and made our D-Day 70th commemoration a huge success. We had no less than 4 WWII veterans in attendance. We had about 60 people attend and 15 walk ups.

What has Paws Fur Thought been Up to?

GradFolks, sorry I have been so remiss in sitting down and hammering at the keyboard. I think part of it has to do with the Zombie Winter that just will not die. I think I am not far off the mark if I can say that all Canadians have just about had their fill of winter and for those of us suffering from PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) this winter will long be remembered as the winter the country unified and went searching for the Groundhog with the intent of beating him senseless with a shovel. But I digress…

So how has Paws Fur Thought and specifically, my girl Thai been doing? I would have to answer great on both counts but exceptionally busy is the flip side of that coin.  After completing the Long Walk to Sanity last September at the National War Museum, there have been many events to keep us busy fulfilling our primary mission: Advocatiing and Fundraising to place service dogs with veterans battling the ravages of PTSD.
